On 25 July 2026, Diaverum Singapore participated in the 7th Singapore Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) Patient Educational Forum as Diaverum d.HOLIDAY, where we had the opportunity to connect with patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals while promoting our international holiday dialysis platform.
Organised by the Singapore Nurses Association (SNA) and the Renal Nurses Chapter (RNC), the annual forum focused on empowering patients with knowledge and practical support to live well with peritoneal dialysis at home.
Although d.HOLIDAY is designed to help haemodialysis (HD) patients arrange dialysis treatments while travelling overseas, participating in a PD-focused event proved to be especially meaningful.
During the forum, we met several attendees who had transitioned from peritoneal dialysis to haemodialysis. Many shared a common concern: Would travelling still be possible after switching to HD?
Introducing them to d.HOLIDAY allowed us to reassure them that travel remains within reach. Through Diaverum's international network of dialysis centres and trusted partners, patients can arrange dialysis treatments abroad, enabling them to continue exploring the world with confidence and peace of mind.
We were also delighted to reconnect with some of our own patients who had transitioned from haemodialysis to peritoneal dialysis. Catching up with them and hearing about their journeys was a wonderful reminder that every patient's dialysis journey is unique, and that the right support at every stage can make a meaningful difference.
The event was a valuable opportunity to engage with the renal community, exchange experiences, and raise awareness of how d.HOLIDAY can help dialysis patients maintain their quality of life through travel.
